Beginners Sewing - Gathered Skirt

This workshop is for learners who want to learn how to use a domestic sewing machine. On this course, you will make a basic gathered skirt to learn how to use a sewing machine
Key Learning
- Wind the bobbin
- Thread a domestic sewing machine
- Operate the machine to sew straight and zig zag stitches
- Learn how to construct a gathered skirt
- Complete an elasticated waistband finishing
You will need to bring
Please do not bring heavy, stretchy or silky fabric
- 2.5m to 3m cotton material
- Matching colour thread
- 2.5cm/1" elastic
Tea and coffee will be provided; you are welcome to bring refreshments.
