ONLY SUITABLE FOR LEARNERS WHO HAVE COMPLETED THE PATTERN DRAFTING - TROUSER BLOCK COURSE
AGE 18+ WOMEN ONLY - 8 hours class
This lesson focuses on the adaptation of a basic trouser block to create straight-leg trousers, a classic and versatile garment suitable for various occasions. Learners will develop an understanding of how to refine leg width, maintain correct grainlines, and achieve a balanced silhouette while preserving proper fit through the waist and hips. The lesson also introduces appropriate fabric choices and construction techniques required for producing well-finished straight trousers. By the end of the lesson, learners will have adapted a trouser block into a straight-leg trouser pattern and constructed a completed garment.
