Beginners Classes - Adjustable Apron
AGED 18+ WOMEN ONLY CLASS
This workshop is designed for learners who want to learn how to use a domestic sewing machine. In this course, you will make a basic gathered skirt to build confidence in using a sewing machine and start your dressmaking journey.
Key Learning
- Wind the bobbin
- Thread a domestic sewing machine
- Operate the machine to sew straight and zig zag stitches
- Learn how to make and attach an add on pocket
- Learn how to construct an adjustable apron
You will need to bring
Please refrain from bringing heavy, stretchy, or silky fabrics. Also, note that we cannot accommodate bringing your own machine.
- Pattern paper or a roll of white or brown paper
- 2 meters of cotton material for the apron
- 1 meter of complimentary cotton for the strap and pocket
- Matching colour thread
