Beginners Class - Zipped Tote Bag
AGE 18+ WOMEN ONLY CLASS
This course suits learners with machine sewing experience and/or those new to pattern drafting and dressmaking. It is also ideal for intermediate to advanced learners who want to increase their knowledge of pattern drafting and garment construction skills and techniques.
Our courses are designed to suit your needs. For the experienced sewist, you may only want to learn how to draft the pattern; alternatively, you can opt for the Combo, which teaches both pattern drafting and garment construction.

You will need to bring
Please do not bring heavy, stretchy or silky fabric.
- Pattern drafting paper or a roll of white/brown paper
- 3m to 4m (144 cm/55" wide) cotton lawn
- 1m fusible interfacing
- Matching colour thread
- 23cm (9") Invisible/Concealed zip (not a standard zip)
Tools and equipment will be provided; we cannot accommodate using your sewing machine.
Tea and coffee will be provided; you are welcome to bring refreshments. The Combo Workshop will have a break to eat, please bring your lunch.
