Beginners Class - Reversible Tote Bag

AGE 18+ WOMEN ONLY CLASS

This workshop is designed for learners who wish to learn how to operate a domestic sewing machine.  In this course, you will make a reversible tote bag to learn how to use a sewing machine

Key Learning
  • Wind the bobbin
  • Thread a domestic sewing machine
  • Operate the machine to sew straight and zig zag stitches
  • Learn how to make and attach an add on pocket
  • Learn how to construct a reversible tote bag
You will need to bring

Please refrain from bringing heavy, stretchy, or silky fabrics.  Also, note that we cannot accommodate bringing your own machine. 

  • Pattern paper or a roll of white or brown paper​
  • 2 x 1 meter of complementing cotton or a lightwight furnishings fabric
  • Matching colour thread

 

Tea and coffee will be provided; you are welcome to bring refreshments.
