Juniors Workshop - Apron
AGE 10 - 17 GIRLS ONLY CLASS
This workshop is suitable for learners with machine sewing experience who want to learn how to sew. In this course, you will make an apron to build confidence in using a sewing machine and start your dressmaking journey.
Key Learning
- Wind the bobbin
- Thread a domestic sewing machine
- Operate the machine to sew straight and zig zag stitches
- Learn how to make and attach an add on pocket
- Learn how to contruct an apron
You will need to bring
Please refrain from bringing heavy, stretchy, or silky fabrics. Also, note that we cannot accommodate bringing your own machine.
- Pattern paper or a roll of white or brown paper
- 2 meters of cotton material for the apron
- 1 meter of complimentary cotton for the strap and pocket
- Matching colour thread
